Cherob Antiques & Curiosa was founded by my parents in 1988, the name CHEROB is derived from my mother Cherry and my father Robin. I entered the business in 1999 after helping out for many years. My mother and I have continued the business on after my father passed away. We are English, but we have lived in the beautiful country of Holland for 30 years now, in the heart of the bulbfields in Lisse, just down the road from the famous Keukenhof flower gardens, where I used to work. 
We are interested in the history of Dutch pottery, particularly the old Delft potteries and the Art Nouveau & Deco Gouda periods. De Porceleyne Fles, Makkum, Zuid Holland, Rozenburg, Weduwe Brantjes and Regina are just some of the companies in which we hold particular interest and we hope to be able to share our interest with you.

We have been selling items worldwide now for some 4 years through ebay and a large number of our customers have shown an interest in a catalogue of our stock, so what better opportunity than to present some of our items to you through our new website? We take pride in our customer relations, we treat you how we would like to be treated. We also have a varied taste in collectables from Lalique art glass to metal chocolate molds, from Olympic Games memorabilia to Dutch Royal commemoratives, anything that takes our fancy. From time to time we will be adding more interesting items so please sign up to receive emails from us if you so wish. 

Since October 2000 we have a small shop within the antique centre 'De Looier' in the heart of Amsterdam on the Elandsgracht. The antique centre has over 80 stalls and 70 plus display cabinets with a variety of antiques and collectables. We are there on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am until 4.30pm so please come along and see what we may have to offer you. It's always nice to put a face to an email name, we have had visitors there from all over the globe! If you are making a special effort to come and see us, please email in advance to chek that we will be present.
